Birds Leave Florida due to climate change

A scholar with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Vic Doig, likewise told the Associated Press that the winged animals that moved to Snake Key are just a small amount of those that would typically be on Seahorse Key, as indicated by the Associated Press.

"It's not unprecedented for winged animals to relinquish homes," said Peter Frederick, a University of Florida natural life scientist who has contemplated Florida's feathered creatures for almost 30 years, as indicated by the AP. "In any case, for this situation, what's confusing is that the greater part of the species did it at the same time."  In response, researcher made a move: They tried left-behind winged animal corpses for infection or contaminants. Their test outcomes were negative. They discovered no indications of new predators. They noticed an increment in night flights over the range by reconnaissance planes and helicopters used to battle drug runners- - yet they feel that interruption from the planes' commotion is a longshot, says Doig, as indicated by the AP. 

Researchers are worried about whether the relinquishment could have a gradually expanding influence: Is the island shelter lost? Will different creatures on the key be influenced by the winged creatures' flight, they asked, by AP. 

"Any rookery that is continued for a considerable length of time as 

one of the biggest states is unfathomably critical," said Janell Brush, an avian analyst with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, as per the AP. "It's very much a substantial state. There must be some serious occasion that would push every one of these winged creatures away."
