A solar-powered airplane finished crossing the United States on Saturday, landing in New York City after flying over the Statue of Liberty during its historic bid to circle the globe, the project team said. Astronauts Tim Kopra and Scott Kelly, from the US space agency Nasa, are going outside the ISS to fix a broken component. As they suited up and prepared to go out into space, they received assistance from Tim Peake and Sergey Volkov. Mr Peake arrived at the ISS on Tuesday.
