On Thursday reports surfaced that a Russian hacker called Tessa88 was asking for 10 bitcoins (£4,000) for access to a list of 32 million names.  In a blogpost, Twitter said it was confident that the data had not come from a hack attack on its servers.  But after scrutinising the list, it had locked some accounts and users would need to reset their passwords. Three French anti-racism associations said on Sunday they would file legal complaints against social networks Facebook , Twitter ( and Google's Youtube for failing to remove "hateful" content posted on their platforms.  French law requires websites to take down racist, homophobic or anti-semitic material and tell authorities about it.  But French Jewish students union UEJF and anti-racism and anti-homophobia campaigners SOS Racisme and SOS Homophobie said the three firms had removed only a fraction of 586 examples of hateful content the anti-racism groups had counted on their platforms between the end of March and May 10. Sun Microsystems was a Silicon Valley giant Founded in the 80s, the company sold hardware and software to thousands of companies, and during the dot.com boom it was bringing in $5bn (£3.4bn) in revenue each quarter.
