Solar plane lands in New York City

A solar-powered airplane finished crossing the United States on Saturday, landing in New York City after flying over the Statue of Liberty during its historic bid to circle the globe, the project team said.  The spindly, single-seat experimental aircraft, dubbed Solar Impulse 2, arrived at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport at about 4 a.m. local time after it took off about five hours beforehand at Lehigh Valley International Airport in Pennsylvania, the team reported on the airplane's website.  Such a pleasure to land in New York! For the 14th time we celebrate sustainability," said the project's co-founder Andre Borschberg on Twitter after flying over the city and the Statue of Liberty during the 14th leg of the trip around the globe. The Swiss team flying the aircraft in a campaign to build support for clean energy technologies hopes eventually to complete its circumnavigation in Abu Dhabi, where the journey began in March 2015. Facebook announces measures to tackle video piracy on its website

Facebook has announced measures to tackle video piracy on its website.  The company said new video matching technology would alert selected content creators if their videos were reposted to Facebook without permission.  In August, YouTube star Hank Green wrote a blog criticising the company over its slow response to video piracy.  Brady Haran, who runs a collection of YouTube channels, told the BBC he still had questions over Facebook's new approach.Facebook has been trying to grow its video business and in July it announced plans to share advertising revenue with content creators for the first time.  But the company has been criticised by prominent video creators such as Mr Green for failing to tackle video piracy. In June, research by advertising agency Ogilvy found that 73% of  the most popular videos on Facebook had been ripped from other websites.  Announcing its new approach, Facebook said: "Our matching tool will evaluate millions of v...

Nasa's New Horizons spacecraft a new target to aim " Pluto"

Nasa's New Horizons rocket has another focus to go for taking after its notable flyby of Pluto.  It is called 2014 MU69, and was one of two comet-like protests that were under thought by researchers chipping away at the mission. The US space office will now complete an audit of the arrangement before formally favoring the mission's expansion.   New Horizons completed its flyby of Pluto in July, drawing nearer to 12,500km from the diminutive person planet's surface.  The shuttle caught nitty gritty pictures and other information of Pluto, as well as of its moons: Charon, Styx, Nix, Kerberos and Hydra.   The new target speaks the truth a billion and a half km past Pluto. It speaks the truth 45km crosswise over and is thought to be one of the building squares from which greater universes, for example, Pluto are framed.  Such questions shape a locale of the external Solar System called  the Kuiper Belt, containing a profound stop test of what our ine...

Australian Kelpie Dog

Kelpies are loyal, friendly, intelligent, energetic dogs that require a challenging job to be satisfactory companions.  They need to be stimulated as idle and bored dogs become frustrated, noisy, and destructive. With personalised love and attention, they can be very placid and faithful, although they do need space to run. For the show or bench Kelpie, walks and socialisation may be sufficient to keep them happy. A working bred Kelpie must have a job to do and plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to remain healthy and companionable. A Kelpie is not aggressive towards people and cannot be  considered a guard dog, though he will certainly bark when necessary. Working Kelpies may nip when working stock and should be taught early not to do so to humans.
